Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of thin sterile needles into the top layers of the skin to stimulate nerve endings at specific points all over the body. The results is activation of neurotransmitters to create widespread effects throughout the body.

While results can be seen immediately in some cases, most patients will need a minimum of 3-5 treatments spaced out every 1-2 weeks before you can expect to see notable improvement.

Dr. Scheblein is trained in Medical Acupuncture which utilizes the same points and meridians (or channels) first used in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.  Western, or ‘medical’ acupuncture, is a more targeted evidence-based approach to acupuncture which still uses many of the same techniques.
